When I become a Member of Mexican Gold, what happens?
Mexican Gold creates a Member account for you in our Members database. Your Member account
has your Name and E-mail Address, as well as an Account Number and secret Password.
To access your private Member Home page on the Mexican Gold website, you enter your
Account Number and Password. Your Password is like a PIN number. Be sure no one else knows your Password, or they
will be able to go to your private account page and spend your money!
On your Member Home page, there is a list of your Accounts - a US Dollar
account, a Mexican Peso account, and an Advertising account in US Dollars for
use with Mexican Gold activities - and links for making Transactions using your Accounts, and other helpful links.
How do I set up my Account?
When you sign up as a new Member of Mexican Gold, you automatically are set up with 3 Accounts:
- an account in Mexican Pesos
- an account in US Dollars
- a special account for Advertising with Mexican Gold in US Dollars
There is no need to set up any other accounts. When other currencies are
added, you will automatically have an account in each of these other currencies
too.
Each Account has the same " ID # " as your " Member account
ID # " so they are easy for you to remember.
When you want to receive a Payment, you simply provide your Account's ID # to
the Buyer or Mexican Gold member that is making the Payment.
You will receive your payment in either Mexican Pesos or US Dollars, the same
currency as the Mexican Gold account your Buyer uses to make his Payment.
You can also see your present Account Balance.
How do I make a Transaction involving my Account?
From your private Mexican Gold Member Home page, you first select the Account that you want
to work with, and then click on the appropriate link for the Transaction.
When I deposit money to my Mexican Gold Account, what happens?
You may deposit money to your Account by:
- an electronic bank transfer of funds
- a deposit directly into the bank account of Mexican Gold
- a check or money order sent by mail to the Mexican Gold office
- a payment with your credit card using PayPal
The money is deposited in a bank account of Mexican Gold in the country of the
currency of your account.
Mexican Gold maintains accounts in at least one of the major banks in each country to facilitate
your transfer of money.
Account details for making deposits are available on the "Making a
Deposit" page of your Member pages.
Before or after making your deposit to a Mexican Gold bank account, you need to
complete a Deposit form on your Mexican Gold Member page so that we are aware of
your deposit and can credit your Mexican Gold Account when it clears into our
bank account.
There is no commission charged by Mexican Gold on any of your deposits. Commissions charged to
Mexican Gold by your credit card company, or electronic check, will be passed on to you and
deducted from your deposit.
When I make a Payment, what happens?
To make a Payment, you will first go to the Mexican Gold website, enter your
Account ID # and Password to access your private Mexican Gold Member page, select the Account to make your Payment
from, and then click on the link to go to the "Request a Payment" page.
Once on the Request a Payment page, you enter the Account ID # associated with the account of
the person or business that you wish to pay, and the amount of the payment. Click on "Make Payment" and you're finished. Easy! And FAST!
Our computer program checks that you have sufficient funds in your Account to make the payment,
and then makes the transfer of funds in our Client Account database.
Immediately, the person or business receiving the payment receives an E-mail notifying him that
you have made a payment of the amount that you requested. You also receive an E-mail confirming
that the payment you requested has been made. Save or print out this E-mail as an immediate record
of your Payment.
How do I transfer money from one currency account to another?
To make a Transfer from one currency to another, you will first go to the Mexican Gold website, enter your
Account ID # and Password to access your private Mexican Gold Member page, select the Account to make your
Transfer from, and then click on the link to go to the "Request a Transfer" page.
Once on the Request a Transfer page, you enter the Account ID # and Description
(Advertising or Currency) associated with the account that you wish to transfer
money to, and the amount of the Transfer. Click on "Make Transfer" and you're finished. Easy! And FAST!
Our computer program checks that you have sufficient funds in your Account to make the
transfer requested, and then forwards the transfer request to our head office where are staff will
handle making the transfer.
Transfers to another currency are usually completed within 1 bank working day. The currency exchange rate provided by our bank will be used as the
currency exchange rate for your transfer - no extra commission!
Bank charges associated with the transaction will be deducted from the amount
transferred. These charges will appear on your Account Statement.
Transfers to your Advertising Account with Mexican Gold are usually completed
within several hours.
Can I see a Statement of my Transactions?
You can also "Request a Statement of Transactions" for your Account from your private
Mexican Gold Member page for any time period within the last year. Your Transaction Statement
appears showing all the transactions to and from your Account during that time period.
Print out this Transaction Statement for your records if you wish.
The current Balance in each of your Mexican Gold Accounts appears on your private Member page so you will
always know how much money you can spend. If your payment is for more than the balance in your
Account, you will need to deposit more money to your Account before making the Request for
Payment.
Remember there are no commissions charged by Mexican Gold to make a payment in the same currency.
All transactions are FREE.
My Account Balance has increased and I have not made a deposit. What's happening?
Your Mexican Gold Account can RECEIVE payments from other Mexican Gold members. Normally you
receive an E-mail when you receive a Payment, but if you have not checked that E-mail account,
you will not know that you have been paid. Your Account Balance shows the difference, and your
Transaction Statement indicates the details of the payment.
You have just discovered another of the great benefits of having an Mexican Gold Account.
It can be used to receive payments AND make payments. In addition you always have a Record of
all your Transactions immediately available.
When I want to withdraw some excess money from my Account, what happens?
From the Mexican Gold website, you enter your Account ID # and Password to access your private
Mexican Gold Member page, select the Account to make the withdrawal from, then click on the link
to the "Withdraw Funds" page.
You may withdraw money from your Account by:
- a regular check sent by mail to your address
- a deposit directly into your account if in Mexico
Simply select the method of payment, the amount, and provide the necessary information for us
to make the payment. When you click on "Make Withdrawal", you're done. Making a
Withdrawal is just as easy as making the Deposit, or making a Payment.
There is no commission on the first Withdrawal each month.
Mexican Gold charges a commission of 5%, or a minimum of $5, on all further Withdrawals that month.
But, for their first 6 months, all new accounts with a minimum balance of US $1000 or equivalent
during the previous 30 days, get a second Withdrawal per month with no commission.
When you discover all the ways you can use Mexican Gold, you probably will not use the
Withdrawal option frequently. You'll find it's easier, faster, and better to pay all your bills
using Mexican Gold.
